No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2594.- Inexercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Chamkaur sahib District Roopnagar :-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Roopnagar or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Chamkaur Sahib District Roopnagar;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chamkaur Sahib;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Ludhiana;

5. Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Chamkaur Sahib;

6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Chamkaur Sahib;

7. Sh. Shamsher Singh S/o Sh. Randhir Singh, Ward No. 11 (Mane Majra), Distt. Roopnagar. Mob No. 94175-63633. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/ DA/2527 , Dated : 01-10-2020). and

8. Sh. Manit Kumar S/o Sh. Darshan Kumar, Ward No. 6, Near Gurdwara Shri Damdama Sahib, Distt. Roopnagar. Mob No. 98556-27008 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2527 , Dated: 01-10-2020)

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Chamkaur Sahib shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members( 1455 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), OCTOBER 1, 2020 (ASVN 9, 1942 SAKA) 1456 present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman. Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
