NOTIFICATION

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2604.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Mehatpur District Jalandhar.

1. Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Mehatpur.

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nakodar;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;

5. Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Mehatpur;

6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Mehatpur;

7. Sh. Ramesh Lal S/o Sh. Kehru Ram, Ward No. 5, Teh. Nakodar, Jalandhar Mob. No. 98151- 76313. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2527 , Dated 01-10-2020).

8. Sh. Mahinderpal Singh S/o Sh. Subaj Singh, Ward No. 9 Teh. Nakodar, Jalandhar. Mob No. 99140-51888. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 2527, Dated 01-10-2020 ).

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nakodar shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
