NOTIFICATION

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 2614.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Patti District Tarn Taran.

1. Deputy Commissioner, Tarn Taran or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Patti.

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Patti;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Amritsar;

5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Patti;

6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Patti;

7. Sh. Dalbir Singh Sekhon S/o Sh. Pirthipal Singh, 31/6, Near Kanniya School, Ward No.6, Patti, Tarn Taran, Punjab.Mob. 94170-44921 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 2527, Dated 01-10-2020).

8. Sh. Vijay Kumar S/o Sh. Kishan Kumar, 312, Prem Nagar, Ward No. 5, Patti, Tarn Taran, Punjab.

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Patti shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
