NOTIFICATION

The 8th October, 2020

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2901.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Malout District Shri Muktsar Sahib:-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Shri Muktsar Sahib or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Malout District Shri Muktsar Sahib;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Malout;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Bathinda;

5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Malout;

6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Malout;

7. Sh. Jagan Nath Sharma, Gali Convent School Wali, Preet Nagar, Malout. Mob No. 94176-19269 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2831,Dated: 08- 10-2020). and

8. Sh. Shubhdeep Singh (Bittu), Gali Bittu Ex. M.C. Wali, Peerkhana Road, Malout. Mob No. 98885- 61001. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2831, Dated:

08-10-2020 ).

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-DivisionalMagistrate, Malout shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman. ( 1572 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), OCTOBER 9, 2020 (ASVN 17, 1942 SAKA) 1573 Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
