NOTIFICATION

The 8th October, 2020

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2921.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Raikot District Ludhiana.

1. Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Raikot;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Raikot;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Ludhiana;

5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Raikot;

6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Raikot;

7. Sh. Sudarshan Kumar Joshi S/o Sh. Satpal, Ex President Raikot MC, Resident Ward No. 6, Mob.

No. 98144-64505. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/MEO/ DA/2831, Dated: 08-10-2020 ).

8. Sh. Jagpreet Singh Buttar S/o Sh. Sadhu Singh, City Tower Near Bus Stand, Barnala Road, Raikot Mob No. 9872100205. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/ MEO/DA/2831,Dated: 08-10-2020).

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Raikot shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.

from the date of issuance of this notification.
