NOTIFICATION

The 8th October, 2020

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2961.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Nadala. District Kapurthala :-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Nadala District Kapurthala;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhulath;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jalandhar;

5. Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Nadala;

6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Nadala;

7. Sh. Kamaljit Sharma S/o Sh. Raj Pal, Nadala, Kapurthala Mob No. 98153-26943. and (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/2831, Dated: 08-10-2020 ).

8. Sh. Baldev Raj S/o Sh. Surain Dass, Dhilwan Road, Joshi di Chakki, Nadala, Kapurthala Mob No. 84274-99118. (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 2831, Dated: 08-10-2020)

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhulath shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.

from the date of issuance of this notification.
