NOTIFICATION

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/3205.- Inexercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Raman District Bathinda :-

1. Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Raman District Bathinda;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Talwandi Sabo;

4. Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Bathinda;

5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Raman;

6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Raman;

7. Sh. Sarabjit Singh S/o Sh. Gurmel Singh, House No. 192, Ward No. 10, Phullu Road, Raman Mandi (Bathinda). (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/ DA/ 3057, Dated 12th October 2020)

8. Sh. Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Raj Kumar, House No. 224, Street No. 7/1, Ward No. 5, Raman Mandi (Bathinda) (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 3057, Dated 12th October 2020).

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Talwandi Sabo shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members ( 1641 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), OCTOBER 14, 2020 (ASVN 22, 1942 SAKA) 1642 present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.

Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
