NOTIFICATION

No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/3265.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council, Jandiala Guru District Amritsar.

        1.   Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
        2.   Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Jandiala Guru.
        3.   Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amritsar-I;
        4.   Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Amritsar;
        5.   Administrator, Municipal Council, Jandiala Guru;
        6.   Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Jandiala Guru;
        7.   Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal, House No. 1764, Darsni Bazar, Jandiala Guru,  Mob No.
             75893-57121 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/
             3057, Dated 12th October 2020).
        8.   Sh. Varinder Kumar S/o Sh. Shri Jagdish Raj, House No. 5524, Gaushala Road, Jandiala Guru,
             Mob. No. 98880-77011 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/
             MEO/DA/3057, Dated 12th October 2020).
2.      As  per  provisions  of  Rule  5(6)  of  the  Delimitation  of  wards  of  Municipalities  Rules,  1972,  the

Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amritsar-I shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman. issuance of this notification.
