NOTIFICATION
The 25th November, 2020
No.Labour-Lab0Estb/64/2020-5L/1811.- The Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the following new pay scales as per 7th Central pay Commission for all prospective recruitments/appointments–Direct recruitments/ compassionate appointment in the following cadre of the Department of Labour with effect from the date of notification:

1. Senior Assistant Rs. 35400/- (Level 6)
2. Senior Scale Stenographer Rs. 35400/- (Level 6)
3. Junior Scale Stenographer Rs. 29200/- (Level 5)
4. Stenotypist Rs. 21700/- (Level 3)
5. Clerk Rs. 19900/- (Level 2)
2. The grant of the aforesaid pay scales are subject to the following conditions, namely:-
1) The instructions issued by the Department of Finance vide letter No. 7/204/2015-4F.P.1/60, dated 15.1.2015 and letter No.7/204/2015-4F.P.1/853793, dated 04.10.2016 shall be applicable in to.
2) Except the aforesaid Basic Pay as indicated above, the decision regarding grant of other allowances shall be taken later on.
3) After receipt of the report of the 6th Punjab Pay Commission, no futher revision shall be affected in these pay scales for the newly recruited persons to the aforementioned categories of posts.
3. This is issued as per instructions of the Department of Finance issued vide ID Letter No.7/42/2020-5FPI/741- 746 dated 17.07.2020 and advice received from the Department of Finance vide ID Letter No.7/87/2020-5FPI/1145, dated 29.10.2020
