NOTIFICATION
The 10th December, 2020
No. 01/09/2019-AS5/2377.-Whereas Government of Punjab, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation Limited, Udyog Bhawan, Sec-17 A, Chandigarh under the Department of Industries & Commerce, Punjab, in the Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2017 of Department of Industries lays emphasis specially on introducing and practicing the concept of Ease of Doing Business in relation to providing different nature of clearances to the plot holders taking holistic view of the situation and to accelerate the pace of providing clearances to the entrepreneurs in pursuit of implementation of their project, the Govt. has now decided that work relating to the passing of building plans of induslrial plots in different focal points/Growth Centers shall be under taken by PSIEC as under:-
1. Work relating to the passing of building plan of the industrial plots falling in the industrial estates/focal points/ growth centers developed and allotted by PSIEC/Punjab infoteh/PSIDC/industries deptt. shall henceforth be undertaken by PSIEC w.e.f. 01.01.2021.
2. Building plans shall be approved in accordance with the applicable zoning and building bye laws of PSIEC in the already existing industrial estates/focal points/growth centers in the state of Punjab. However, for the upcoming new industrial focal potnts/estates/parks, building plan Shall be approved in accordance with the "Punjab Urban Planning & Development Building Rules, 2018"
