NOTIFICATION
The 13th January, 2021
No. G.S.R. 08/Const./Art.309/Amd.(2)/2021.-In exercise of the
powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and
all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased
to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab Financial
Commissioners' Secretariat (Group B) Service Rules, 2018, namely:-
RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Financial Commissioners'
Secretariat (Group B) (First Amendment) Service Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Financial Commissioners' Secretariat (Group B) Service
Rules, 2018, in Appendix 'B', under the heading captioned as "Promotion", -
(i) in serial no. 4, for the words "three years", the words "two years"
shall be substituted; and
(ii) in serial no. 8, for the words "three years", the words "two years"
shall be substituted.

NOTIFICATION
The 14th January, 2021
No. G.S.R. 09/Const./Art.309/Amd.(15)/2021.-In exercise of the
powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and
all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased
to make the following rules, further to amend the Pujab Civil Secretariat (State
Service Class III) Rules, 1976, namely :-
RULES
1. (I) These rules may be called the Punjab Civil Secretariat (State Service
Class III) (Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Civil Secretariat (State Services Class III) Rules, 1976 in
the rule 7, in sub-rule (1), under column 4, in serial No. 8, for the words
"Qualifies in a departmental test in Stenography to be held by Chief
Secretary", the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"Qualifies in a departmental test in Stenography to be held by Chief
Secretary:
Provided that the persons who have attained the age of fifty years
shall not be required to pass a departmental test in Stenography."
