NOTIFICATION
The 19th January, 2021
No. 10/51/2017-1T2/79.- In excercise of the powers conferred by Rule 42-A of the Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, and all others powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to partially amend the Government of Punjab, Department of Transport (Transport-II Branch) notification no. 10/51/2017-1T2/1163 dated 19th October, 2020 and 10/51/2017-1T2/1366 dated 10th December, 2020, namely:-
AMENDMENT
1. In the said notification, under the heading the process of e-auction
1. In Sr. no.15,for entry "The allotment of reserved numbers shall be valid for 4 weeks from the date of issue of the allotment letter. If the vehicle owner does not register his vehicle within 4 weeks days, the allotment of the reserved number shall automatically stand cancelled and the amount deposited will be forfeited and no refund shall be given. The allotted reserved number will be released and available to public in further e-auction.", the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
"The allotment of reserved numbers shall be valid for 8 weeks from the date of issue of the allotment letter. If the vehicle owner does not register his vehicle within 8 weeks days, the allotment of the reserved number shall automatically stand cancelled and the amount deposited will be forfeited and no refund shall be given. The allotted reserved number will be released and available to public in further e-auction.",
2. This notification will come into force with immediate effect.
