No. landC-ADM1OPCM12020/233-B.–Based on revised pay scales granted to different categories of employees w.e.f. 1.1.2006 in the Department of Industries & Commerce in pursuance of the recommendations of the Fifth Punjab Pay Commission, further based on the 7th Central Pay Commission and as per the recommendation of the Committee constituted by the Department of Finance, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to grant the following higher revised pay scales FOR FUTURE RECRUITMENT as indicated in column No.4 in respect of following posts with immediate effect:-

1 Senior Assistant 10300-34800+3800 GP Rs. 35400/- (level 6) 2 Junior Scale Stenographer 5910-20200+2800 GP Rs. 29200/- (level 5) 3 Clerk 5910-20200+1900 GP Rs. 19900/- (level 2) The Grant of the aforesaid revised higher pay scales are subject to the following conditions, namely:

1. The instructions issued by the Department of Finance vide their circular letter no. 7/204/2015- 4FP1/60, dated 15.01.2015 and 7/204/2015-4FP1/853793/1, dated 04.10.2016 shall be applicable in toto.

2. Except the aforesaid Basic Pay attached to various posts as indicated in column No.4, the decision regarding grant of other allowances shall be taken later on.

3. After receipt of the report of the 6th Punjab Pay Commission, no further revision shall be effected in these pay scale/Matrix for the newly recruited persons to the aforementioned categories of posts.

( 181 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), JANUARY 29, 2021 (MAGHA 9, 1942 SAKA) 182 4. This Pay Matrix is issued as per Department of Finance instruction no.7/42/2020-5FPI/741-746, dated 17.07.2020 and will only be applicable on Prospective Recruitment and shall not be applicable to the

existing incumbents in any manner, whatsoever.

This is issued with the advice given by the Department of Finance conveyed vide their ID.O.No. 7/87/2020- 5FPI/1145, dated 29.10.2020.
