NOTIFICATION
The 23rd December, 2020
No.7/5/2017-2P(PF)/9-24.-In continuation of Punjab Government Notification issued vide No.7/5/07-2P/64, dated 24.07.2019, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to fix the terms and conditions of the appointment of Sh.
Amrit Sagar Mittal, Vice Chairman in the rank and status of Cabinet Minister in Punjab State Planning Board as under:-
(i) ਵਾਈਸ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ 30-7-2019 (Joining date) ਤੋਂ 11-4-2022 ਤੱਕ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
(ii) He will be entitled for (i) Residential Accommodation, travel concession at par with that of Cabinet Minister but he shall not be entitled to draw the Allowances & Facilities like TA/DA, Medical reimbursement and salary as per his own request.
(ii) He will be entitled to requisite Secretarial Staff and facilities for the performance of duties as admissible to a Cabinet Minister.
(iv) Government will not meet his Income Tax Liability as being done in respect of Cabinet Minister;
(v) He will not be entitled to any discretionary grant as admissible to Cabinet Minister.
(vi) Beside above, He will be allowed to operate from Hoshiarpur also in Public interest.
(vii) This approval is accorded to Sh. Amrit Sagar Mittal as a personal measure and shall not be treated as precedent.
(viii) The above terms & Condition will be applicable from the date of notification of his appointment/ assumption of office.
(ix) The expenditure will be borne in the budget head of the Punjab State Planning Board.
2. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Department, Punjab conveyed vide their ID letter PART I] PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., FEBRUARY 5, 2021 (MAGHA 16, 1942 SAKA) 149 No.PERS-PP-20 MISC/9/2019-3PP2/1/32007/2020 dated 08.06.2020 and Department of General Administration (Cabinet Affairs Branch) approval vide their ID.letter No.1/231/2020-1cabinet/9587 dated 17.12.2020.
