NOTIFICATION
The 16th February, 2021
No. 32/8/21/ ਪਪ2(8)/747.-The Governor of Punjab is pleased to allow a wastage of semen straws @ 2% to compensate for the broken, cracked, plugged out, floated semen straws during Artificial Insemination or wasted during production/sealing/testing and during storage at various production/user levels as per details given below:-

1 Central store at Patiala. 0.06% of the number of straws handled
during the year.
2 District level Semen Distributor (DDAH) 0.07% of the number of straws handled
during the year.
3 Cluster level semen supply point 0.07% of the number of straws handled
during the year.
4 End user –CVH/CVD 1.80% of the number of straws handled
during the year.
2. This notification is being issued with the approval of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Punjab.
3. The Notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
