No.5/100/2018-1lg4/212.-For increasing efficiency as well as for optimum utilization of the human resources, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to Restructure The Department of Local Government as approved by the CMM.

2. For the above purpose, the following posts are created and surrendered:-

3.      Approval  is  also  given  for  the  merger  of  Municipal  Election  office  with  the  Directorate  of  Local
Government, Punjab.
4.      For 17 vacant posts of Clerks in the Directorate, approval is given to rename them as follows:-
                 a)      6 posts as Legal Clerk.
                 b)      5 posts as Clerk(IT).
                 c)      6 posts as Accounts Clerk.
5.      The seniority and pay scales of Clerk (IT), Accounts Clerks and Legal Clerks will be same and they will
be promoted to the post of Assistant as per common seniority.
