NOTIFICATION
The 19th May, 2021
No. SED-EDU7013/18/2021-5EDU7/104.- 1.0 Consequent upon the decision taken in the meeting held on 20.12.2019 under the Chairman ship of Principal Secretary to the Government of Punjab, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and meeting held on 23.4.2021 with the Department of Finance, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to transfer the following scholarship schemes from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Punjab to the Department of School Education commencing from the financial year of 2020-21:-
1. Encouragement award to SC Girl Students for pursuing 10+2 Education.
2. Attendance Scholarship to SC Primary Girl Students.
3. Attendance Scholarship to BC/EWS Primary Girl Students.
4. Award to SC Sports Students (6 to 12 classes).
5. Pre Mature Scholarship/Scheme whose parent are engaged in unclean occupation (100% GOI and above Committed Liability).
6. Pre Matric Scholarship/Scheme for SC Students (IX to X).
7. Pre Matric Scholarship/Scheme for other Backward Classes (1st to 10th)
2.0 Henceforth, all matters pertaining to the aforesaid scholarship schemes shall be dealt with by the Department of School Education.
