NOTIFICATION

No. PWSSB/Secy/2021/281.-In pursuance of the powers conferred by sub-section (2)(b) of section 72 read with section 12 of the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976 (Punjab Act No. 28 of 1976) and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board, with previours sanction of Government, makes the following amendment in the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services) Regulations, 1981, namely :-
1 (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services) Regulations, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. In the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services) Regulations, 1982, Sr. No. 16 of Appendix 'B' (Service Group-B) the qualification for direct recruitment shall be substituted, namely :-

16 Junior Engineer 35400/- Should possess minimum Three Years Diploma in Civil
Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
from State Technical Education Board or from recognized
University or Institute.
OR
Higher qualification in the relevant discipline.
