NOTIFICATION

No. RCS/EDU&TRG/EI/5845.-Where as the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab, from the proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 for furthering the objects specified in the bye-laws of the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd.Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab.
2.0 After the resignation of the managing committee administrator was appointed in the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab. Term of administrator was expired on 24-2-2021. Election Programme was approved . Date of election was fixed on 5.5.2021. Due to Covid outbreak election of the society was not conducted. In order to follow up court cases of the society and to carry out day to day affairs of the society there is need to constitute one such ad-hoc working committee, till elections are conducted.
3.0 Now, therefore, in excercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act, 1961 (Punjab Act No. 25 of 1961), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to exempt the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab, from the provisions of proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the aforesaid act. This exemption is being granted for the appointment of ad-hoc working committee consisting four members in the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab, to follow up court cases of the society and to carry out day to day affairs of the society till elections are conducted.
4.0 Further to the above, four member committee consisting of concerned Branch Manager, concerned Inspector (Audit), concerned Area Inspector and secretary of the society is constituted as ad-hoc working PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), JUNE 21, 2021 (JYST 31, 1943 SAKA) 2696 Committee in the Kajla Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd. Kajla, Nawanshahr, Punjab to follow up court cases of the society and to carry out day to day affairs of the society.
