NOTIFICATION

No. RCS/EDU&TRG/EI/5859.-Where as the Governor of Punjab is satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, from the proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act,1961 for furthering the objects specified in the bye-laws of he Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

2.0 Term of the Board of the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank , Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, was expired on 15.02.2020 and administrator was appointed in the Bank. Term of Administrartor was expired on 15.2.2021. Election manager was appointed on 18.2.2021 to conduct the election of the Committee. Zones of the the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, has been approved and election programme is in under process. In order to implement the scheme regarding restructring of loans of default debtors of the Bank and to carry out day to day affairs of the society, it is neccesary to constitute one such ad-hoc working committee till elections are conducted.

3.0 Now, therefore, in excercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Punjab State Cooperative Societies Act,1961 (Punjab Act No. 25 of 1961), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to exempt the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab,from the provisions of proviso to sub clause 1-D of Sub-section 1 of Section 26 of the aforesaid act. This exemption is being granted for the appointment of ad-hoc working committee consisting three members in the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab, for implementation of government scheme regarding restructring of loans of default debtors of the Bank and to carry out day to day affairs of the society till elections are conducted.

concerned Inspector (Audit), is constituted as ad-hoc working Committee to carry out day to day affairs of the Mahalpur Primary Co-operative Agricuture Development Bank, Mahalpur, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
