NOTIFICATION

No. 06/02/2022-2lg1/383.–Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government that land mentioned hereunder is required to be taken by the Government at the public expenses, for public purpose namely for the "Construction of Intermittent Pumping Station (Disposal) at Village Taraf Saidan (Now within Municipal Limits) Distt. Ludhiana". The Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study of the Land Taraf Saidan (HB 172) has already been carried out as per the provisions of Section 4 of "Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013". It is hereby notified that the land described below in the specifications is likely to be acquired for the above purpose in the area Village Taraf Saidan (Now within Municipal Limits) Distt. Ludhiana.

And whereas, this notification is made under the provision of the sub-section 1 of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for the information/ concern of General Public. The Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Study of the land/lands to be acquired has already been carried out as per provisions of Section 4 of the Act ibid. The report has been disclosed/made available to the people and their representatives in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 12 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The Government of Punjab is pleased to authorize the Land Acquisition Collector-cum-SDM Ludhiana East (Ludhiana) with his employees and workmen to enter upon and survey the land in the said locality and to perform all other acts required or permitted in accordance with the provisions of the said section. The Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ludhiana has been notified as the Administrator for Rehabilitation and Resettlement for the said purpose in accordance with the provisions of Section 43 of the Act ibid.

No person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land specified in the preliminary notification or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification till such times as the proceedings under this chapter are completed.

Plan of the land are available for inspection in the office of the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana and Land Acquisition Collector-cum-SDM Ludhiana East.
