NOTIFICATION
The 18th April , 2023
No. S.O. 35/C.A.46/1988/S.9/2023.-In pursuance of the powers
conferred by clause (a) of section 9 of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic
Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 (Central Act 46 of 1988), and all
others powers enabling him in this behalf, the Government of Punjab is pleased
to make the following amendment in the Government of Punjab, Department of
Home Affairs and Justice, Notification No. 4/5/17-5H5/2368, dated the 29th
September, 2020, applicable to the Chairman of Advisory Board namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the said Notification,-
(i) for para 5, the following para shall be substituted, namely:-
"5.Transport:-Provisions for transport/car will be same as
provided in the Standard terms and conditions for appointment
of non-official Chairperson and Part-time Chairperson or
Member of the Public Sector Undertakings or Boards or Apex
Cooperative Institution or Tribunals and Commissions issued
by the Department of Finance vide its memo No. 9/25/86/2010/
-FD(DPE&D)2018/3347-92, dated the 26th December, 2018,
as amended from time to time." ; and
(ii) after para 9, the following para shall be inserted, namely:-
"9.A Accommodation:-Subject to the availability, the
appropriate Government accommodation will be allotted to
the Chairman on payment of license fee or rent as per relevant
rules or Instructions."

NOTIFICATION
The 20th April, 202
No.S.O. 36/P.A.31/1973/S.2/2023.-In partial modification of the
Government of Punjab, Department of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster
Management (Jagir Branch), Notification No. S.O.97/P.A.31/1973/S.2/2021,
dated the 13th September, 2021 and in pursuance of the provisions of clause
(a) of section 2 of the Punjab Public Premises and Land (Eviction and Rent
Recovery) Act, 1973 (Punjab Act 31 of 1973), and all other powers enabling
him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to appoint all the Additional
Deputy Commissioners (General) in the state of Punjab as Collectors for
performing the functions of Collector under the aforesaid Act within the local
limits of their respective jurisdiction except the Districts of Amritsar, Jalandhar,
Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda and Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, wherein Additional
Deputy Commissioners (Urban Development) would continue to act as
Collector under the Act ibid in their respective jurisdiction.
