No. 19/02/18-LR/1/8455.-The Governer of Punjab is pleased to rename the existing Town 'Shri Hargobindpur' as "Sri Hargobindpur Sahib" with immediate effect. It would be spelt in English, Gurmukhi and Devnagri respectively as under:-
English : "SRI HARGOBINDPUR SAHIB" Gurmukhi : "ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ" Devnagri :
" श्री हरगोबिन्दपुर साहिब "
