NOTIFICATION

The 22nd July, 2022

No. 11/47/2012-4H1/1578.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 54-G of the Punjab Police Act, 2007 (as amended in 2014 and 2018) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Government of Punjab is pleased to fix the following terms and conditions of appointment of Shri Satish Chandra, IAS (Retd.), Chairperson, State Police Complaints Authority:-

1. Term of Office The term of Chairperson shall be three years from the date

on which he enters upon his office.

2. Pay

The initial pay of Chairman shall be fixed at the same stage as

the last pay drawn by him before retirement and the pension

(before commutation) shall be reduced from the pay so fixed.

He shall continue to draw separately any pension sanctioned

to him and shall retain any other form of retirement benefits.

3. Dearness Allowance The Chairperson shall be entitled to draw dearness allowance

at the rate admissible to the officers of All India Service as

revised from time to time.

4. Leave The Chairperson shall be entitled to avail Casual Leave only

as admissible to an Officer in the rank of Chief Secretary to

the Government of Punjab.

The competent authority to sanction the leave shall be the

Governor of Punjab.

(485) 486 PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., MAY 26, 2023 (JYST 5, 1945 SAKA) PART I] 5. Medical Facilities The Chairperson shall be entitled to medical facilities as admissible to an Officer in the rank of Chief Secretary to the

Government of Punjab.

6. Leave Travel Concession, Travelling The Chairperson shall be entitled to leave travel concession, Allowance & Daily Allowance travelling allowance and daily allowance at the rate as

admissible to an Officer in the rank of Chief Secretary to the

Government of Punjab.

2. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Department, conveyed vide their I.D. No. FD-FP- 207(TRCN)/20/2021-1FP2/I/373513/2022 dated 08.06.2022.
