No. WR-IRWR 015/6/2023-IW(2)/I/573066/2023.–ਨਾਰਦਰਨ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਕੈਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਡਰੇਨੇਜ ਐਕਟ, 1873 (ਐਕਟ 8 ਆਫ 1873) ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਲ 63 ਅਧੀਨ ਇਹ ਅਧਿਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਹੰਦ ਨਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਦੀ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਸਫਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੌਸਮ ਅਤੇ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਮ~ੁਖ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮਿਤੀ 31.05.2023 ਤੋਂ ਮਿਤੀ 14.06.2023 ਤੱਕ (ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ) 15 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

NOTIFICATION

No. WR-IRWR 015/6/2023-IW(2)/I/573066/2023.–It is hereby notified that under Rule 63 of Rules framed under the Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, 1873 (Act No.VIII of 1873) subjected to weather conditions and the status of crops, Bathinda Branch off-taking from Sirhind Canal will remain closed from 31.5.2023 to 14.06.2023 (both days inclusive) for 15 days to complete the work of internal clearance of the Canal.
