NOTIFICATION
The 18th July, 2023
No. 13/61/23-6HG2/987.–In pursuance to Clause No. 17.2.7 of Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2022 notified by Government of Punjab vide Notification No. PIU/Industrial & Business Development Policy-2022/291 dated 8th February 2023, in order to encourage the shifting of Industries from residential areas or other non-conforming zones to the conforming zones of Master Plans/approved industrial zones/industrial estates within stipulated time limit, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the following incentives to these units, subject to the compliance of the provisions of the respective Master Plans, Unified Zoning Regulations and Punjab Urban Planning and Development Building Rules, 2021 or as amended from time to time:
- The existing site will be allowed for permissible usage as per master plan without any CLU charges
- No CLU, EDC or License Fee on the new industrial site
- After shifting to new location, type of such industry may change
The notifications no. 17/17/01-5hg2/836008/1 dated 08-09-2016 of Department of Housing and Urban Development shall stand partially amended to this extent. All other terms and conditions of the said notification dated shall prevail.
Accordingly, the notification no. 13/64/17-5hg2/1912 dated 16 New 2018 shall stand superseded.
