No. 06/06/2023-4LG1/864.- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 read with Rule 4 of the Determination of the number of Elected members of Municipal Corporations Order, 2008 (Amended) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-determine the number of elected members and reservation thereof and is further pleased to specify the constituencies (wards) reserved for Schedule Castes, Backward Classes and Women (including Schedule Castes Women) in the said Municipal Corporation, Phagwara as under:-

Note:- All the previous notifications, if any, regarding to determine the seat numbers reserved for Ladies (Including Scheduled Castes Ladies), Scheduled Castes, Backward Class and General in the above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
