The 22nd July, 2022

No. 05/01/2015-5TC/395.-The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has launched Swadesh Darshan - 2.0 Scheme to develop sustainable and responsible tourism destinations in the country in partnership with the States/UTs. Ministry of Tourism has issued guidelines of this scheme and as per Guidelines State has to put in place the State Steering Committee for cooperation amongst multiple departments required during implementation of project under this scheme. As such the State Steering Committee has been constituted by the Government of Punjab, Department of Tourism of the following senior officers:

1. Chief Secretary

Chairperson

2. Administrative Secretary In-charge Member

of Department of Tourism

3. Administrative Secretary In-charge of Member

Urban Local Government (in case Project

area falls in the urban area)

4. Administrative Secretary In-charge of Member

Rural Development (in case project falls

In the rural area)

5. Administrative Secretary in-charge of Member

Public Works Department

6. Representative of Ministry of Tourism, Member

Government of India

7. Two representative of Tourism Industry Member
