No. 04/01/11/ .D.4/3312.–In exercise of powers u/s 22 of "De-notification of Infected Area" of Chapter III of ''The prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009'' the following area is "De-notofied" on account of confirmation of Negative reports of the post –outbreak surveillance against the scheduled disease "Glanders" among equines by Northern Regional Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (NRDDL), Jalandhar :-
" Village Tareen, Tehsil Ajnala, Distt. Amritsar, Punjab "
In further exercise of powers u/s 20, 21, and 22 of the aforesaid Act, necessary actions as per the guidelines and instructions of "National Action Plan for Control & Eradication of Glanders in India- 2019" shall be strictly implemented accordingly.
The notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
