No. 6/27/2016-3HB3/2288.–In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) (C) of section 5 of The Punjab Medical Registration Act, 1916 & The Punjab Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 2010, the Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased to notify the name of the elected members of the Punjab Medical Council:-

2. Their appointment shall be subject to provisions of The Punjab Medical Registration Act, 1916 & The Punjab Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 2010 and shall continue in the office at the pleasure of State Government.

3. Their continuation as a member of the Council shall be subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed from time to time.

4. During their tenure as a member they will not indulge in any act which may be detrimental to the interest of Council and State Government. ( 4559 ) 4560 PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), NOVEMBER 2, 2023 (KRTK 11, 1945 SAKA) 5. There must not be anything adverse against these members on the date of taking over as member of Council.

6. This notification is issued subject to final outcome of CWP No. 22732 of 2023.
