NOTIFICATION
The 23rd November, 2023
No. 2/64/2019-2DC (3DC)/654.–In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6(2)(ii) of "The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016", the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the State Committee for Research on Disability which shall consist of the following members:-
1. Director, Research and Medical Education, Punjab.
-- Ex officio Chairperson 2. Director , Health Services/Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. -- Ex officio Member 3. Smt. Malkit Kaur, Vill. Burj Bhalaike, P.O Mian,Teh. Sardulgarh, -- Member District Mansa, Punjab.
4. Sh. Bharpur Singh, H. No. 969 Green Avenue, Faridkot, Punjab. -- Member 5. Sh. Amarjit Singh Anand, Anand's 432-L Model Town, Jalandhar, Punjab. -- Member 6. Dr. Kiran Kumari, H. No. C-16, Punjabi University Campus, Patiala, Punjab. -- Member 7. Dr. Sukhdeep Kaur, H. No. 261 Ranbir Astabal, Banasar Road, Sangrur, Punjab. -- Member 8. Director, Department of Social Security and Women and -- Member Secretary Child Development, Punjab.
2. The Chairperson may invite any expert as a special invitee.
3. The term of office of the nominated members shall be for a period of three years from the date on which they enter upon office, and the nominated members shall be eligible for re-nomination for one more term.
