NOTIFICATION
The 23rd November, 2023
No. S.O. 82/C.A.59/1988/S.102/2023.- Whereas an approved Scheme
under the provisions of section 99 read with section 100 of the Motor Vehicles
Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) was framed and published, vide Government
of Punjab, Department of Transport, Notification no. S.O.43/C.A.59/1988/S.100/
2016, dated the 12th May, 2016;
And whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of
the aforesaid Act, the modifications in the above said Scheme were published
as required by sub-section (2) of the said section 102 for inviting objections
and suggestions thereon, vide Government of Punjab, Department of Transport,
Notification no. S.O. 57/C.A.59/1988/S. 102/2023, dated the 28th July, 2023;
And whereas the objections or suggestions received in response to
the proposed modification have been considered by the Government of Punjab;
And whereas, the Governor of Punjab is of the opinion that it is necessary
in public interest to do so;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
on (1) of section 102 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988),
and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is
pleased to make the following modification in the aforesaid Scheme dated
12th May, 2016, namely:-
MODIFICATION
In the said scheme, in the Schedule, under the headings captioned as "Route
[(up and down) on a track]" and "Station falling on a route (in sequence)", for
item (iv), the following shall be substituted namely:-
"(iv) Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji International
International Airport to Airport (Start Point), Mirankot
Golden Temple (Ghee Chowk, Gumtala Village (SJS
Mandi). Avenue), Gumtala Bypass, Ranjit
Avenue (Hartej Hospital), PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA), NOVEMBER 24, 2023 1322

Cantonment Chowk (Saroop Rani
