NOTIFICATION
The 18th March, 2024
No. S.O. 22/C.A. 39/1987/S.6/PSLSAR/1996/R.3/2024.-Whereas
in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the
Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act No.39 of 1987), the Legal
Services Authority for the State of Punjab was constituted, vide Government
of Punjab, Department of Legal and Legislative Affairs, Notification No. S.O.
19/C.A.39/87/S.6/96, dated the 4th October, 1996;
AND WHEREAS in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (2) of
section 6 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 read with clause (B) of
rule 3 of the Punjab State Legal Services Authorities Rules, 1996, the nominated
members were notified, vide Government of Punjab, Department of Legal
and Legislative Affairs, Notification No. S.O.13/C.A.39/1987/S.6/Amd./2021,
dated the 29th January, 2021 and No. S.O.113/C.A.39/1987/S.6/2021, dated
the 26th October, 2021;
AND WHEREAS in pursuance of the provisions of rule 8 of the aforesaid
rules, the term of the nominated members has expired;
NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of the provisions of clause (B) of
rule 3 of the aforesaid rules, and all other powers enabling him in this behalf,
the Governor of Punjab in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Punjab
and Haryana High Court, is pleased to nominate the following persons, to be
the nominated members of the Punjab State Legal Services Authority, in place
of the aforesaid nominated members, namely:-

NOTIFICATION
The 18th March, 2024
No. S.O. 23/C.A.22/2005/S.5/2024.-In supersession of the
Government of Punjab, Department of Legal and Legislative Affairs,
Notification No. S.O. 91/C.A.22/2005/S.5/2021, dated the 29th July, 2021,
and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the
Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005), the Department of
Legal and Legislative Affairs, Punjab, in the capacity of public authority,
designates Smt. Bindu Sharma, Superintendent Grade-1, as the State Public
Information Officer in so far as this department is concerned to provide
information to the persons requesting for the information under the said Act.

NOTIFICATION
The 18th March, 2024
No. S.O. 24/C.A.22/2005/S.5/2024.-In partial modification of the
Government of Punjab, Department of Legal and Legislative Affairs [Punjab
Official Language (Legislative) Commission], Notification No. S.O. 92/C.A.22/
2005/Ss./5 and 19/2023, dated the 21st December, 2023, and in exercise of
the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Right to Information
Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005), the Punjab Official Language (Legislative)
Commission in the capacity of public authority, designates Smt. Bindu Sharma,
Superintendent Grade-1, as the State Public Information Officer in so far as
this Commission is concerned to provide information to the persons requesting
for the information under the said Act.
