HFW-HTH609A/55/2024-3H6/I/921446/2024 .-The Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the State Advisory Committee for Drugs, Cosmetics and Medical Devices as follows:-

• Official Members:

1. Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration,Punjab Chairman

2. Director, Health & Family Welfare, Punjab Member

3. Director, Ayurveda, Punjab Member

4. HoD, Homoeopathy, Punjab Member

5. Joint Commissioner, (Drugs) Member Secretary

6. Director, FDA Laboratory, Punjab Member

• Non Official Members:

1. 02 Members from Punjab Drugs Manufacturers Association

2. 01 Member from Punjab Ayurvedic Drugs Manufacturers Association

3. 01 Member from Cosmetics Manufacturers in Punjab

4. 01 Member from Homoeopathic Manufacturers in Punjab

5. 01 Member from Medical Devices Manufacturers in Punjab

6. 02 Members from C & F Association, Punjab

7. 04 Members from Punjab Chemists Association (02 Wholesale Chemists and 02 Retailsale Chemists) 8. 02 Members to be nominated by the State Govt. including 01 member from Non Govt. Organization (NGO)

• The tenure of the official Members shall be on perpetuity basis.

• The tenure of the non official members shall be of two years. (735) 736 PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., OCTOBER 25 , 2024 (KRTK 3, 1946 SAKA) PART I] • No TA/DA will be given to any member of the committee. 2. The Terms of Reference of the above said Committee shall be as follow: • To give suggestions to control the spurious/fake Medicines, Cosmetics and Medical devices.

• To suggest about the better storage practices.

• To give suggestions regarding the better supply chain practices.

• To make recommendations with regard to improvement in the quality of record keeping.

• To make recommendations with regard to the adoption of Good Manufacturing Practices for the manufacture of medicines, cosmetics and medical devices.

• Any other agenda that the Chairman may permit.

3. The committee shall meet on half yearly basis every 06 months
