NOTIFICATION

No. PERS-IAS0CFP/2/2020-3-S/1415.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 of the The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, (Central Act No. 46 of 2023), the Governor of Punjab is hereby pleased to confer the powers of Executive Magistrate upon the Sector Officers/ Supervisory Officers appointed by the Returning Officer of 10-Dera Baba Nanak, 44-Chabbewal (SC), 84-Gidderbaha and 103-Barnala, to be known as Special Executive Magistrate, for maintenance of law and order during the bye-elections 2024, in their respective area of jurisdiction, from the date of notification till the completion of election process.
