NOTIFICATION
The 11th October, 2024
No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/41.- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of Delimitation of Wards of Municipal Council, Rampura Phul, District Bathinda.
1. Deputy Commissioner, Bathinda or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;
2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Municipal Council, Rampura Phul ;
3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rampura Phul;
4. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Bathinda;
5. Administrator, Municipal Council, Rampura Phul;
6. Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Rampura Phul;
7. Sh. Inderjeet Singh Mann, Address - Inderjeet Singh Maan Vpo Nr. Green Mkt. Pin 151206 Rampura Phul Disst. Bathinda, Number- 98724 63655 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/DA/09, Dated: 11-10-2024); and
8. Sh. Darshan Sohi S/O Jarnail Singh Sohi, Village Phul Town Rampuar Phul Patti Buttar, Number - 9888045367 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.5/24/2016/MEO/ DA/09, Dated: 11-10-2024).
2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Rampura Phul shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
