NOTIFICATION
The 11th October, 2024
No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/16 .- In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3(1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of delimitation of wards of Nagar Panchayat, Dhilwan, District, Kapurthala :-
1. Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf;
2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Dhilwan, District, Kapurthala;
3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Kapurthala;
4. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kapurthala;
5. Administrator, Nagar Panchayat, Dhilwan;
6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Dhilwan;
7. Sh. Kuldeep Pathak, Patti Ramu Ki, Dhilwan Punjab 144804 District – Kapurthala, Number - 9463966886 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/ 09, Dated: 11-10-2024);
8. Sh. Adv. Harsimran Singh Ghuman, Ward no.10 Bholath, Punjab 144622 District- Kapurthala Number - 98780 08708 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No. 5/24/2016/MEO/DA/09, Dated: 11-10-2024).
2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Kapurthala shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shall elect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman.
Note:- All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
