NOTIFICATION

The 11th November, 2024

No.S.O. 71/P.A.9/2024/S.1/2024.- In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Punjab Goods and Services Tax

(Amendment) Act, 2024 (Punjab Act No. 9 of 2024), and all other powers

enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab, is pleased to appoint,—

(a) the 27th day of September, 2024, as the date on which the provisions

of sections 7,32,39 and 41 of the said Act shall be deemed to have

come into force;

(b) the 1st day of October, 2024, as the date on which the provisions of

section 35 of the said Act shall be deemed to have come into force;

of sections 3 to 6, 8, 10 to 31, 33 to 34, 36 to 37 and 40 of the said

Act shall be deemed to have come into force; and(d) the 1st day of April, 2025, as the date on which the provisions of sections 2 and 9 of the said Act shall come into force.
