NOTIFICATION

The 22nd October, 2024

No.1/13/04- EB (PR)/1139.- In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 135 (2) of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to designate the following Officers of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) for the implementations of the provisions under section 135 (2) of the aforesaid Act in the State in the distribution area of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), as Enforcement Officer to enter the consumer premises for checking/inspecting the same as hereunder:-

i)      All DS/NRS/AP, SP and Medium/Large/                  Any Officer of Distribution wing not below

ii)     Large and Bulk Supply beyond                         Any Officer of Distribution wing not below
        500 kW and Railway traction supply                   the rank of Sr.XEN (within his jurisdiction).
B .     Enforcement-cum-EA&MMTS  Officers:
i)      All categories of consumers with load                Any Officer of the Enforcement Wing not
        upto 500 kW                                          below the rank of AE within his jurisdiction
                                                             and; beyond his jurisdiction with the consent

of in-charge officer/ controlling officer of

other area.

2. This notification shall supersede the earlier notification No. 1/13/04-EB(PR)/23 date10.1.2005.
