GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT (TOWN PLANNING WING) NOTIFICATION The 6th April, 2023

No.C.T.P(LG)-2023/969.- Whereas Development Scheme no. 1 (Shri Hargobind Nagar) was notified by the Government under section 42 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act 1922 vide notification no. 8876-4C2-76/37829 dated 27.10.1976.

2. Whereas Municipal Corporation Phagwara vide resolution no. 46 dated 25.10.2016 and resolution no. 38 dated 04.06.2018 has resolved to allow the change of land use of plots from plot no. 718 to 746 abutting on road as per layout plan of Development Scheme and plots abutting upon the both sides of road (i.e. from plot no. 746 to 485) in the development scheme no. 1 from residential to commercial up to single depth as per the provisions of Master Plan Phagwara.

3. In exercise of the powers conferred under section 275 (3) of Punjab Municipal Corporation Act 1976 and under section 41, 42, 43 of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922 read along with section 19 of the Punjab General Clauses Act 1898 and all the powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to allow the Municipal Corporation Phagwara to permit the Change of Land Use of the plots from residential to commercial only up to the single depth abutting upon the following roads in Development scheme no. 1:-

a) Plot No. 718 to 746 (Single side)

b) From plot no. 746 to 485 (Both side)( 110) PART I] PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., JANUARY 24, 2025 (MAGHA 4, 1946 SAKA) 111 4. The permission for permitting the change of land use from residential to commercial to the individual owners of the plots abutting on the above mentioned roads shall be granted by the Competent Authority in accordance with the provisions of Master Plan, Phagwara and CLU Policy 2006, as amended from time to time.

5. The relevant drawings of the scheme stands modified to that extent.
