No. HFW-HLH407/179/2024-4H4I/998053/2024.- The Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the State Advisory Committee on Food Safety as follows:-

The tenure of the official members shall be on perpetuity basis.

No TA/DA will be given to any member of the committee ( 291 ) 292 PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., FEBRUARY 14, 2025 (MAGHA 25, 1946 SAKA) PART I] 2. The Terms of References of the above said Committee shall be: a) To make recommendations with regard to improvement in the quality of Food products

b) To make recommendations with respect to adoption of Good Manufacturing practices for Manufacturers and improvement in the quality of record keeping

c) To promote the Eat Right India initiatives amongst FBOs

d) To uplift the Food Safety Standards in the State

e) To advise on promoting nutritional status in the State

f) To bridge the gap between the different stakeholders.

3. The Committee shall meet atleast once in a quarter.

4. This issues with the approval of Hon'be Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab.
