The 28th January, 2025

No. 1/12/96-STE(5)/83.- In supersession of Punjab Government Notification No. 1/12/96/STE(5)/12-26 dated 06.01.2022 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section 1 and 2 of Section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and sub Section 1 and 2 of Section 5 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to re-constitute the Punjab Pollution Control Board with immediate effect, consisting of the following

The term of the members of the Board shall be regulated by the provisions made under sub- section (1) of Section 5 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 except that of Chairman Punjab Pollution Control Board whose term of appointment is separately regulated.
