NOTIFICATION

No. PWSSB/R&C/2025/71.-In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 72 read with Section 12 of the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976 (Punjab Act No. 28 of 1976) and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board with the previous sanction of the Government makes the following amendment in the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services), Regulations 1981namely:-

AMENDMENTS

1.   (i)   These regulations may be called the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services),
           Amendment Regulations, 2025
     (ii)  They shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of these rules in the official
           Punjab Government Gazette.
2.   In the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Services), Regulations 1981, Sr. No. 5 of class II
     Appendix "B" shall be substituted as under:-

5 Sub Divisional Twenty-Five Seventy-Five Should posses a Out of Seventy-Five percent:-

the Junior Engineers,who possess a Degree

in Engineering in Civil or Mechanical or who

possess a degree of A.M.I.E from a recognized

university or an institution, and who have an

experience of working as such for a minimum

period of three years after obtaining the aforesaid

degree; and

(iii) Five percent from amongst the Circle

Head Draftsman or Head Draftsman who

possess a degree in Engineering in Civil or

Mechanical or a degree of A.M.I.E from a

recognized university or an institution and have

an experience of working as such for a

minimum period for two years.
