NOTIFICATION

No.PERS-PP-2/1/2025-4PP2/292.-In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 5 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020, read with sub- clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub-section (4) of section 4 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and others Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (Central Act No. 18 of 2016) and in pursuance of the Government of India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology letter eF. No. 13(4)/2020-EG-II (Vol.X), dated the 20th September, 2023, and all others powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify that all its Departments shall ensure Aadhaar Authentication, on a voluntary basis, for the purpose of authentication of State Government employees on its Integrated Human Resources Management System for providing HR services, using Yes or No authentication facility.
The consent form to be filled by the applicants shall be as per Annexure "A", appended to this notification.

CONSENT FORM FORMAT
I…..........holder of Aadhaar no. ………………. give my consent to concerned Department, Government of Punjab, for fetching/establishing my identity for purpose of KYC through UIDAI, using the Aadhaar OTP or Biometric authentication with Unique identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for the purpose of authenticating the State Government Employees, enrolled on its Integrated Human Resource Management System (iHRMS), on a voluntary basis.
The consent and purpose of collecting Aadhaar has been explained to me in local language. The Department has informed me that my Aadhaar shall not be used for any purpose other than mentioned above.
I understand that the Aadhaar Number, Biometric and/or OTP, I provide for authentication, shall be 550 PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ., APRIL 18 , 2025 (CHTR 28, 1947 SAKA) PART I] I have been given other alternative means by the Concerned Department, Government of Punjab for KYC purpose including physical KYC by submitting valid documents and I have voluntarily chosen Aadhaar based KYC.
