NOTIFICATION
The 9th December, 2025
No: H-U-H1/98/2025-6H1/I/1261588/2025/1.- Whereas, the Governor of Punjab desires that the land is likely to be required at the public expense for public purpose, for development of Aero City Expansion Project namely Aerotropolis in Pocket-I at S.A.S Nagar as per approved Master Plan of S.A.S Nagar drawing No. DTP, S.A.S Nagar 2280/2016, dated 05.12.2016 in the area of Tehsil Mohali, District S.A.S Nagar.
This notification is made under the provisions of Section-11 of" The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013" to all whom it may concerns.
It is to be noted that Social Impact Assessment (SIA) of the proposed Acquisition for development of Aero City Expansion Project namely Aerotropolis in Pocket-I at S.A.S Nagar in village Kishanpura and Kurdi (463.2292acres), Tehsil Mohali District S.A.S Nagar has been carried out as per Section 4 of the Act ibid. The Social Impact Assessment ascertains that very few people are likely to be displaced. There is no major direct impact identified during Social Impact Assessment. The Social Impact Assessment has been disclosed to the people and their representatives as per Section 6 of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013. Government of Punjab has notified Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohali, as Administrator of the said project.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the aforesaid Section, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to authorize the officers for the time being engaged in the undertaking with their servants and workmen to enter upon and survey the land in the said locality and do all other acts required or permitted by Section 12 of "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013".
Any person interested in and having any objection to the acquisition of any land in the said locality may, within sixty days from the date of publication of this notification, file an objection in writing pertaining to (a) area and suitability of the land proposed to be acquired (b) justification offered for public purpose and (c) the findings of the Social Impact Assessment report before the Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, S.A.S Nagar.

(EXTRA), DECEMBER 10, 2025 (AGHN 19, 1947 SAKA) 8895 No person without the prior approval of Collector, shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land specified in this notification or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of this notification till such time as the proceedings regarding acquisition are completed.
Plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Development, Ground Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Sector-62, S.A.S Nagar.
