NOTIFICATION

The 18th December, 2025

No. 04/117/DA(SA-1)/MEB/2025/230.-In exercise of the Powers conferred by Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972 (read with amended Rule 3 (1) (vi)), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to constitute the Delimitation Board consisting of the following members for the purpose of Delimitation of Wards of Nagar Panchayat, Boha District Mansa.

1. Deputy Commissioner, Mansa or any other officer nominated by him in this behalf ;

2. Member of Legislative Assembly representing the concerned Nagar Panchayat, Boha;

3. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Budhlada;

4. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Mansa;

5. Administrator/President, Nagar Panchayat, Boha;

6. Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Boha;

7. Sh. Jagseer Singh, VPO Boha, Ward No. 13, Tehsil Budhlada, District Mansa Mob. No. 94638-22673 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.04/117/DA(SA- 1)MEB/2025/200, Dated: 12-12-2025)

8. Sh.Kamaldeep Singh, VPO Boha, Tehsil Budhlada, District Mansa Mob.No. 97000- 40440 (member nominated by the Government vide Notification No.No.04/117/DA(SA-1)MEB/ 2025/200, Dated: 12-12-2025)

2. As per provisions of Rule 5(6) of the Delimitation of wards of Municipalities Rules, 1972, the Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Budhlada shall be the Chairman of the Board. In his absence, the members present shallelect one member who shall preside over the meeting of the Board as its Chairman. ( 9190 ) PUNJAB GOVT. GAZ. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Delimitation of Wards of Municipalities Rules,1972 the following members sponsored by the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Boha are nominated as Associated Members for the purpose of assisting the Delimitation Board constituted above, in its day to day functioning:-

1. Smt. Darshani Kaur, Member,Ward No. 4;

2. Sh. Lat Singh, Member, Ward No.6;

3. Sh. Mithu Singh, Member, Ward No. 12 and;

4. Sh. Jagsir Singh, Member, Ward No. 13

4. As per provisions of rule 5(1) of the Delimitation Rules, none of the above associated members, shall have to right to vote or sign any decision of the Delimitation Board.

Note:-All the previous Notifications, if any, w.r.t. constitution of Delimitation Board in respect of above mentioned municipality operative shall be deemed to have been cancelled with immediate effect from the date of issuance of this notification.
