NOTIFICATION
The 19th December, 2025
No.G.S.R.202/Const./Art.166/Amd.(12)/2025.- In exercise of the
powers conferred by clauses (2) and (3) of Article 166 of the Constitution of
India, and all other powers enabling me in this behalf, I, Gulab Chand Kataria,
Governor of Punjab, hereby amend the Government of Punjab, Allocation of
Business Rules, 2007, namely:-
RULES
1 (1) These rules may be called the Government of Punjab,
Allocation of Business (Second Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Government of Punjab, Allocation of Business Rules, 2007, in
the Schedule, under the heading "40. DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL
SECURITY", after serial No. 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following
serial No. and entries shall be added, namely:-
"8. All matters relating to the welfare and protection of transgender
persons including the implementation of the Transgender
Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 (Central Act No. 40
of 2019).
