No.I/1276484/2025.-The Governor of Punjab is pleased to allocate posts of Special Educator Teacher (Primary) to district of the State of Punjab. The allocation is as follows:-

2. For posting of Special Educator Teachers in Government Primary schools of the state, and with a view to ensuring equitable distribution of teachers, the following shall be considered:-

(i) The Posts of Special Educator Teacher shall be allocated to school having the highest enrollment of Children with Special Needs (CwSN) in descending order of enrollment.

(ii) While giving appointment to Special Educators Teachers, it shall be ensured that all block of the district have been covered proportionately, keeping in view the enrollment of CwSN Students.

(iii) To ensure quality education for every CwSN student, the Block Primary Education Officer (DDO of Primary Cadre) shall arrange rotation duty of Special Educator Teacher in different schools within the block based on the requirement arising from the enrollment of CwSN students.

(iv) As the enrollment of CwSN is dynamic in nature, the concerned District Education Officer (Elementary) shall be the competent authority to sanction or shift the posts of Special Educator Teacher, along with the incumbent teacher, from one school or block to another school or block where such requirement exists, based on the enrollment of CwSN student.

3. This is issued with the prior approval of the Competent Authority.
