NOTIFICATION
The 29th January, 2026
No. 02/18/2024-7DM1/1540.- In pursuance of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (Disaster Management Division) letter number 33-03/2020-NDM-1 dated 11 July 2023 (at serial number D) the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the Heavy/Excessive Rain as State Specific Disaster within the local context in the State from Monsoon 2025, for the purpose of providing assistance out of SDRF within the limit of 10% of the annual funds allocation of the State Disaster Response Fund. The scale of assistance will be same as applicable to the notified list of disaster eligible for assistance under the State Disaster Response Fund.
