NOTIFICATION
The 7th September, 2026
No.G.S.R.53/Const./Art.318and309/Amd.(2)/2026.- In exercise
of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Article 318 read with the proviso to
Article 309 of the Constitution of India, and all other powers enabling him in
this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following regulations
further to amend the Punjab Public Service Commission (Group 'A') Service
Regulations, 2012, namely:-
REGULATIONS
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Punjab Public Service
Commission (Group 'A') (First Amendment) Service Regulations,
2026.
(2) They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of
their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Punjab Public Service Commission (Group 'A') Service
Regulations, 2012, in Appendix 'B', in Serial No. 5 under column No. 6,
captioned as "Promotion", for the existing entries, the following shall be
substituted, namely:-
"From amongst the Personal Assistants, who are members of the Punjab
Public Service Commission (Group-B) Service and who have an experience
of working as such for a minimum period of One Year."

CORRECTION SLIP
The 3rd September, 2026
No. 203 Rules/II.D.4.- A note is added below sub-rule (i) of Rule
20(1) of Chapter 4, Part F of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Rules and
Orders, Volume-V, in the following manner :-
20. (1) Every petition shall consist of paragraphs numbered consecutively
and shall contain,-
(i) the name & age, description sufficient for identification and place
of residence or business of each person joined as a petitioner or
a respondent;
Note: Criminal Writ Petition pertaining to protection of life
and liberty shall also contain present address as well
as previous address of the petitioner(s).
